Use this page to find chats, Minds and artifacts from one dialog, and to move around a long chat with the minimap, the message hierarchy and the scroll controls. To send messages and read answers, start with Ask a Mind.
Before you type anything, the dialog offers two groups:
The search results cover:
The footer lists navigate, select and close with their keys: ↑↓, Enter and Esc. On a phone, these hints and the shortcut chips are hidden.
When a search finds nothing, the dialog reads No results found with Try different keywords. A section that finds nothing says so on its own: No minds found, No chats found or No artifacts found. If you have no chats yet, the recent list reads No conversations yet, and if it cannot load, it reads Failed to load conversations.
While an answer streams, new steps appear as cards and the chat follows them; see Tool cards and Tool History to open a step in full. The chat follows new content only while you stay near the bottom. Scroll up more than about 150 px from the bottom and it stops following, so you can read without the chat moving. Click Scroll down, or scroll back down, and it follows again.
Small controls float over the chat:
The minimap on the right edge shows one dot for each of your messages:
The minimap and the two transcript buttons are hidden on a phone; they need a desktop screen.
View message hierarchy opens the Message Hierarchy map of the chat. The header shows how many messages the map holds.
Press Ctrl+Shift+S, or click Search in the Minds navigation. See The Minds workspace.
Minds, Chats and Artifacts. As you type, results are grouped into these three sections with counts. Recent chats are listed even before you type.

They are the minimap. Each dot marks one of your messages. Hover a dot to see its action, Jump to branchpoint, Jump to swarm report or Jump to message, then click to jump there. Yellow dots are branchpoints.
You scrolled more than about 150 px from the bottom, so the chat stopped following to let you read. Click Scroll down, or scroll back down, and it follows again.
Open View message hierarchy and click the message on the other path. The chat switches to that branch. To step between versions beside a message, see Message actions and editing.
The minimap and the small transcript buttons need a desktop screen, so they are hidden on a phone. The search dialog still opens there, as a bottom sheet.
Yes. The map covers the whole conversation, including messages that are not loaded yet, and jumping to one loads it.
Yes. Each message on the map has Copy message, which copies its text.
Your words did not match anything. Clear the search and try different keywords, or open a recent chat from the list instead.
