Supported connectors

Use this page to check whether a system can be connected to the Lake, and to find the page that explains how to connect it. Every source starts from Add datasource.

Find a source type

  1. Click Add datasource in the header of the Lake, or open the New menu in the toolbar above the tree.
  2. In the picker, choose a group on the left (All Sources, Popular, or a category such as Data Storage or Analytics & BI), or type in Search sources.... The box matches the full phrase you type, ignoring letter case.
  3. Click a card to open its connection form. Every form follows the same pattern; Add a data source walks through the shared steps.

The two cards at the top of the picker, Connect Anything and Connect Any API, are pinned above the categories; they never appear under Popular or in a category view. The New menu pins the same two entries at its top, before its Popular group and the categories. A source that is not enabled is left out of the menu entirely; while the list loads it shows Loading…, and an empty list reads No data sources available.

Adding a source needs Add/Modify Lake Objects. See Who can do what in the Lake.

Send data the other way

Note

This page lists the sources that bring data into the Lake. Eight of them can also receive data as destinations: MSSQL, Postgres, Clickhouse, Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, Google BigQuery and RabbitMQ. To send data the other way, see Add and manage destinations.

Questions, answered

My system is not in the list. What now?

Use Connect Any API for a REST, OData or GraphQL API, or Connect Anything to build a connector from a template. Both are linked in the table above.

What does Soon mean on a card?

The source is listed but not enabled on this platform. You cannot open its connection form.

Where is Popular?

Select Popular in the list on the left of the picker, or open the Popular group of the New menu. Both show the enabled sources that are marked as popular.

Can I duplicate a file datasource?

No. File datasources cannot be duplicated, so create a new source instead.

Which sources can use my own SQL query as a table?

SQL databases and Snowflake. See Import tables.

Can I read RabbitMQ or receive webhooks?

Yes. Both are source types you add like any other source. See Connect RabbitMQ and Connect Webhook.

Is Excel supported?

Yes, in two ways. Excel Workbook is a file source that reads .xlsx and .xlsm files; see Load files. Excel has its own form for workbooks from this computer or from a server; see Connect Excel.

Why can't I use Incremental Reload Loop on an Amazon S3 table?

Amazon S3 does not offer that sync type. Choose another sync type for the table; see Choose a sync type.

Can I connect an XML source?

No. The XML connector is not enabled on this platform: its card shows Soon, and its connection form does not open. See Read a card for what Soon means.
