Kartlos Premium and Kartlos Standard are the two models of Kartlos, the multi-model AI system and orchestration model developed by DataMind. They are part of DataMind Platform, included in your plan, and power the AI features of DataMind OS. In the console they appear in Models with the Plan badge and no per-token price. This page covers what stays stable about them.
| Model | What it is for | Tokens it draws on |
|---|---|---|
| Kartlos Premium | Complex tasks: reasoning, coding and agent work. | Your plan's Premium tokens |
| Kartlos Standard | Everyday work: routine tasks, summaries and high-volume requests, with lower latency. | Your plan's Standard tokens |
Both are covered by your plan; each plan sets its token allowances and any overage price beyond them (Pricing).
Each of the two names is an alias: it stands for a model, and DataMind decides which model it stands for.
They are DataMind's own models: included in your plan, working inside DataMind OS, and not callable with your API key. The other entries in Models are pay-as-you-go models from other providers, billed per token and callable from your own applications (Use the API).
Use Kartlos Premium for complex tasks such as reasoning, coding and agent work. Use Kartlos Standard for everyday work: routine tasks, summaries and high-volume requests. The two draw on different allowances: Premium tokens and Standard tokens.
Yes. The name is permanent, but the model it stands for can change at any time and without notice. Nothing about the model behind it is shown anywhere.
No. Nothing shows it: not its name, not its provider, not its price. Even asking for its provider list answers Model not found, exactly as for a model that does not exist, so the model cannot be uncovered by asking.
Yes. Their usage counts against your plan's Premium tokens or Standard tokens allowance, and they carry no per-token price of their own. Each plan sets the allowances, and any overage price beyond them. Pricing shows the numbers.
Kartlos models are DataMind-exclusive: they work only inside DataMind OS, and your plan covers them instead of billing per token. Your API key serves the pay-as-you-go models; Use the API shows how your applications call them.
Yes. A company set to EU uses models served in the EU, and the model behind a Kartlos name is no exception. The Region setting is on Settings.
No. The name keeps working the same way: keep choosing Kartlos Premium or Kartlos Standard as before, and nothing else changes for you.
