Every message in a DataMind Oda chat carries a small row of actions: the things you can do with that message itself. The actions differ by message, so an answer offers more than a message you sent, and some appear only on the last message of a turn.
Usage 15. 8K tok.Branch into a new conversation starts a separate chat from the end of a turn: the new chat carries the conversation up to that point and goes on from there on its own.
The button is enabled only on the last message of a completed turn. When it cannot be used, it stays in the row, greyed; point at it and it says why: Available only on the last message of a completed turn.
Adding a version inside one chat is a different move: it keeps the chat and continues it from an earlier point. That is covered in Conversation branches.
When a completed turn recorded its usage, its last message carries a pill such as Usage 15..
The newest content keeps its actions in view so they are always at hand. On older messages the row stays out of the way until you point at the message or reach it with the keyboard; on a device without hover the rows stay visible.
The reply's own text. The thinking and the tool rows around it are not part of the copy. On a message you sent, Copy takes your own text.
The text was placed on your clipboard; the button shows Copied for a moment, then changes back. Choosing Copy again while it shows Copied changes nothing. If the copy does not go through, nothing is confirmed.
The button is enabled only on the last message of a completed turn. When it cannot be used, it stays greyed and pointing at it says why: Available only on the last message of a completed turn.
The conversation up to the end of that turn, as inherited history. From there, the branch and the chat it came from go their own ways.
The pill appears only when a completed turn recorded its usage, and it is hidden while Performance & usage is Compact. Set that row to Detailed (the default) in Settings > General to bring it back; see Chat display settings.
Rows the turn did not record are left out rather than filled with zeros, so a missing row means that fact was not recorded, not that it was zero. The turn's exact total sits in the dialog's heading.
A running turn has no action row yet. Its buttons appear as the turn settles, on the turn's last message.
Yes. The row comes out for keyboard focus as well as on hover, so the actions can be reached without a pointer.
Edit and Rewind to here sit next to Copy on messages you sent. Retry sits on the last answer of the version you are viewing. All three change the chat rather than just reading a message, and they are covered in Edit, rewind and retry a message. While a reply is running, they are hidden.
Just the turn. The dialog is titled Turn usage and breaks down what that one turn used. The chat-wide figures are on Chat navigation and stats.
