Every chat keeps a log of what was said and done in it, and you can download that log as a ZIP file: the chat's log, the logs of its sub-chats, and the files and images attached in the chat. Download it from the chat's menu, or with the / command; both start the same download.
Exporting Session with Preparing a ZIP containing this Session, its sub-Sessions, and attachments., and once the download starts it reads Session download started: The browser is downloading the Session ZIP.datamind-session-<id>. zip./ export in the message box and send it.Session log download requested., and your browser starts the same ZIP download./ export as Download this Session log as a ZIP archive./ export takes no path. With one, it answers The Web / export command does not accept a path.| In the ZIP | What it holds |

subagents/. The dialog calls the chat a Session and each sub-chat a sub-Session.Session export failed. It shows the reason when there is one, such as Export failed: HTTP <status> <detail>; otherwise it reads Could not start the Session export.No. Your browser saves it where it saves its other downloads, and / takes no path: with one, it answers The Web / Look for the file in your browser's downloads.
A download of this chat is already running. Oda keeps one download per chat: the row stays disabled while it runs, and asking again does not start a second download. Wait for the current one to finish. Feedback stays available in the same menu.
No. Close dismisses the dialog only; the download continues, and the dialog does not reopen when it finishes.
The chat's log as session. (or session.), the log of each sub-chat under subagents/, the images attached in the chat under media/, and the other attached files under files/.
Yes. Oda saves the chat's newest records before building the archive, so the ZIP holds everything up to the moment you start the download. Work Oda does in the chat afterwards is not in it.
If the same chat is open in more than one window, only the window that ran the command starts the download; the others show Session log download requested. without downloading anything. Check the downloads of the window you ran the command in.
No. / runs as a command rather than a model turn: the model sees nothing and no tokens are spent. The chat shows only the command's own line, Session log download requested.
Oda could not start the download. When it can tell you why, the dialog shows the reason, such as Export failed: HTTP <status> <detail>; otherwise it reads Could not start the Session export. Try again; if it keeps failing, contact your DataMind OS administrator with the message.
Oda fails the whole download instead of leaving part of the archive out. After a download has started, a problem with a sub-chat's log or with an attached file is reported by your browser's download manager, not by the dialog.
Your chat, and the chats of any work Oda delegated. The dialog calls your chat a Session and each of those chats a sub-Session; in the ZIP, the chat's log sits at the top level and each sub-chat keeps its own log under subagents/.
