DataMind Oda in Excel shows a short message when it cannot connect, sign you in, start, finish a reply or finish a step. This page explains each message and what to do next. For the sign-in itself, see Sign in to Oda in Excel; for the pane, see Oda in Excel.
The pane's own messages appear in the pane's language, English or Georgian. The text under Details is the technical reason as it was reported, in English.
These messages appear while the pane connects to your DataMind server or while you sign in. The connection messages take the place of the whole pane; the sign-in messages appear on the sign-in screen, and the last one, about the sign-in link, appears in the sign-in window. All of them follow the pane's language, except the message about the sign-in link, which always appears in English.

A sign-in window you close before finishing leaves no message; that is not an error.
If the pane cannot start, it shows Oda could not start. with one of these messages, a Try again button and a Sign out button.

Oda carries on when the server lets it.
A step that does not finish shows a short message on its row. Where the pane offers Details, it holds the full reason.

When a message asks you to contact your administrator, Manage DataMind Oda for your company shows what your administrator enables and grants for you.
Chats are saved on this computer as you work. If a save fails, Oda records the failure for diagnostics only and the pane shows no message about it. If a chat you expected is missing from History, Chats and history in Excel explains how chats are kept.
Follow the action for your message: click Try again, start the sign-in again, or send your message again. If the same message comes back every time, keep its exact text and contact your administrator with it.
No. Trying again is the first step for connection problems, a busy server and a failed model load. The messages about your account, your permissions and your server always need your administrator: those are settings only they can change.
No. Only your administrator can do this: they turn Oda in Excel on for your account and grant access to DataMind Oda. See Oda in Excel for who enables it; Manage DataMind Oda for your company shows what your administrator enables and grants.

Read the message under Oda could not start. and follow its row in When the pane cannot start. Try again starts the pane again, and Sign out ends the sign-in so you can sign in afresh.
Your DataMind server asked Oda to slow down. While the line
DataMind is busy. shows, Oda waits and carries on by itself. If the server
keeps asking for more than about two minutes, the reply stops with
DataMind is busy.
It is the response code your DataMind server returned for the failed model list. Note it and quote it when you contact your administrator.
The pane's own messages follow the pane's language, English or Georgian. Two kinds of text stay in English: the message about the sign-in link, which is not translated, and the text under Details, which shows the technical reason exactly as it was reported so your administrator can match it.
