First sign-in to DataMind OS

DataMind OS ships with one built-in administrator. You sign in with it once, replace its password, and then create accounts for your users inside DataMind OS.

Open the login page

Open your Platform URL in a browser. DataMind OS sends a signed-out visitor to /login.

Check it worked. The page shows Welcome back! and Please enter your details, with an e-mail field, a password field and a Log in button.

Sign in as the first administrator

Enter the built-in administrator's credentials and click Log in:

If your deployment enforces two-factor authentication, DataMind OS asks you to enrol or enter a code before it continues.

Check it worked. DataMind OS does not open the dashboard. It opens the password screen in the next step.

Replace the first password

DataMind OS requires a new password at the first sign-in. The screen is titled Reset your password, with Please enter your new password below.

  1. Type the new password in Enter new password. The list under the field shows each requirement of your password policy and ticks it off as you type.
  2. Type it again in Confirm new password.
  3. Click Reset Password.

Check it worked. DataMind OS shows Password changed successfully and opens the dashboard.

Next, create accounts for your users on the Users page (/admin/users), then connect your first data source.
