Stand up a brand-new DataMind OS host on the Docker stack. You need Docker access on the host
and the client_id and client_secret provided by DataMind.
Check the on-premise system requirements first: the OS, the hardware tier, the outbound domains and the ports the host needs.
Install Docker Engine by following the official instructions for your Linux distribution: Docker Engine installation.
Then add your user to the docker group so you can run docker without sudo:
sudo usermod -aG docker $USER newgrp docker
Create the install directory and download the Docker Compose file:
sudo mkdir -p /opt/delamain && cd /opt/delamain sudo curl -fsSL https://unistream.blob.core.windows.net/delamain/docker-compose.yml -o docker-compose.yml
Log in to the DataMind container registry, pull the images, and start the stack:
docker login -u <client_id> unistream.azurecr.io docker network create unistream docker compose pull docker compose up -d
When prompted for the registry password, enter your client_secret.
Open http://<your_ip>:8000 and complete the initial user registration.
After registering, click Start → First-time install. On the setup screen, enter the following:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Platform URL | Your IP address or domain |
| Client secret | Your client_secret |
Click Save & continue. The deploy manager opens the Advanced configuration screen, where you
can optionally set SSL_CERT_PATH and SSL_KEY_PATH if you use a domain and need HTTPS. The
certificate and key files must already exist on the host.
Click Save changes → Start installation. If you have nothing to change on the Advanced configuration screen, click Start installation directly.
