Settings is where you set up what DataMind Oda can use on this computer: its connections, skills, memory, hooks, plugins, presets and models. This page maps those areas and goes deeper on the plugin bundles and hooks.
| Area | What you find there |
|---|---|
| Connectors | The apps and MCP servers DataMind Oda can use in your chats, in a Connectors tab and an MCP servers tab. Sign-ins are stored encrypted on this computer. |
| Skills | The skills on this computer: change them, restore deleted ones, and browse their saved versions. |
| Hooks | The hooks on this computer: commands Oda runs automatically while it works. |
| Memory | What Oda remembers between chats, and the switch that lets Oda save memories for you. |
| Developer > Advanced features | The powerful features you can turn on; each stays off until you accept its risks, once for your account. |
| Plugins | The plugin bundles Oda runs, shown in Settings as a read-only inventory. |
| Agent presets | How chats run: the preset roster and your default for later chats. |
| Models | The models your chats can use, and the providers behind them. |
Oda is built from plugins, and a bundle groups plugins together. Settings > Plugins shows what is loaded as a read-only inventory, while the Plugins page in the sidebar installs, enables, disables and removes the plugin bundles a profile runs.
Settings > Hooks shows the hooks on this computer: commands Oda runs automatically while it works. A folder can bring hooks of its own; when it does, a banner in the chat asks you to trust them before they run, and each hook run appears in the chat.
The banner, the trust step and what each decision means are on Hooks.
Both are under Settings > Connectors, one tab each: ready-made apps on the Connectors tab, servers you add yourself on the MCP servers tab. Sign-ins are stored encrypted on this computer; the steps are on Connectors and MCP servers.
It is an inventory: it shows which plugins and bundles are loaded, and does not manage them. Installing, enabling, disabling and removing bundles happen on the Plugins page; see Plugins and bundles.
Install it from the Plugins page. Extra bundles can also be added from a command line; see Oda profiles and launchers.
Some plugins expose values you can change while Oda runs; changes apply live once the app is ready. See Live plugin settings.
Settings > Hooks shows the hooks on this computer. See Hooks.
No. When a folder brings hooks, a banner in the chat asks you to trust them before they run, and each hook run appears in the chat. Settings > Hooks shows the hooks themselves; the trust step is described on Hooks.
No. Your workspaces set the folders Oda works in and the chat's access mode, and your DataMind account sets the permissions and company locks that decide what Oda may do. See Workspaces, files and permissions and Permissions, approvals and feature controls.
Settings > Models holds the model catalogue and the providers behind them. See Models in the chat picker.
