When a decision belongs to you, Oda asks in the chat: a question card takes over the message box, or a plan waits for your review. This page covers both.
While Oda has a question, the card takes the place of the message box. Oda waits with the question, and there is no timeout: the step continues only after you answer, skip or dismiss the questions.
In plan mode, Oda explores the task first, then shows its plan for review in a Plan review card before it changes anything. The card shows the plan's title and a two-line summary.
The plan stays in the chat after you decide, so you can read it again later. Only one request takes over the message box at a time: if a plan review and a question are both waiting, the plan review comes first.
Plan mode is covered in Chat with Oda.
Yes. Type your answer in Type your answer. On a single-answer question, your typed answer replaces the option choice; on a question that accepts several answers, it is added to your choices.
It marks the option Oda suggests. It is a suggestion only: every option works the same way.
You move on without answering it. A skipped question stays skipped, and Oda receives no answer for it.
Yes. Dismiss all questions cancels the whole set: Oda is told that you cancelled, and it receives no answers from the set.
No. A waiting question has no timeout: the step stays paused until you answer, skip or dismiss the questions.
It cancels the review. Nothing is approved, and the message box returns so you can say what you want changed instead.
Yes. View full plan opens the complete plan, and reading it does not answer the review: the card stays until you choose Approve or Request changes.
It stays in the chat, and Oda carries it out. Approving does not remove the plan from the conversation.
No. Helpers cannot open a question card for you: when a helper needs a decision, it reports the question back to the main chat, and Oda asks you there.
No. An approval card appears when a step needs more access than the chat's mode allows, and it offers choices such as Allow once and Reject; see Your first task. A question card asks for a decision that belongs to you, and a Plan review card asks you to agree on the plan before Oda starts.
Yes. Press Enter to move to the next question and to send your answers from the last one; Shift+Enter starts a new line in a typed answer. While an input method is still composing your text, Enter only confirms that text and does not move on.
No. An answer you have not sent lives only in this open chat: it is never saved to disk, and Oda receives nothing until you send.
