DataMind Oda overview

DataMind Oda is the AI agent of DataMind OS that works on your computer. It plans a task and carries it out step by step, reads, creates and edits files in a folder you choose, searches the web, builds documents and reports, remembers your preferences, learns new skills, connects to other tools and runs tasks on a schedule. On top of that, it works directly with your company's data in DataMind OS, on DataMind's own AI models. You describe the work in your own words, and Oda does it within the access you allow.

Important

Oda works only with DataMind OS. You sign in with your DataMind OS account, and everything Oda does goes through your company's DataMind OS: the AI models, your company data, updates and sharing. Without a DataMind OS account, Oda cannot be used.

What makes Oda different

Your company's data, directly. Oda asks the Minds of your DataMind OS, looks at their tables and turns the results into files, charts and reports, with the same data access you have in DataMind OS.
DataMind's own models. Oda runs on Kartlos, a multi-model AI system and orchestration model developed by DataMind, served by your company's DataMind OS. Kartlos Standard is the default, and Kartlos Premium is one click away.
Many more models in one place. Besides Kartlos, Oda can use the many other AI models your company offers through DataMind Platform, billed pay-as-you-go for what you use. You pick the model for each chat.
Your company stays in control. Who can use Oda, and which features each person gets, is set by your administrator in DataMind OS, together with company-wide rules such as which websites Oda may open in its browser.
Work you can share. You can share a chat with colleagues in your company, who read it or continue it in their own Oda.
A clear view of AI use. Every AI request is recorded in your company's DataMind OS, so the company can see how Oda is used across teams, keep AI use within its own rules and support people where they need it.

How Oda works with DataMind OS

Your account: Oda has no separate users. You sign in with your DataMind OS account, on your company's DataMind OS sign-in page.
Access: an administrator gives access in DataMind OS, under Admin > Profile Management, through a user's or role's permissions, for example Use DataMind Oda.
Your work: chats, settings and memory are kept on your computer. AI requests pass through your company's DataMind OS, which records them in its Observability log, with the full input and output. If your administrator allows it, you can turn off content logging in your DataMind OS profile; the log then keeps only who made a request, when, and with which model, without the input and output.

Can I use Oda without DataMind OS?

No. Oda signs in with a DataMind OS account and gets its AI models, data and updates from your company's DataMind OS.

Is there a version for Mac?

Not yet. DataMind Oda runs on Windows today, and a Mac version is coming soon.
