Your DataMind Platform account is the account behind your AI usage. From DataMind Oda you can sign in to it, check your profile and balance, and sign out again. It is a separate sign-in from the DataMind OS account you use to open DataMind Oda.
When a sign-in fails, the browser tab that was finishing it closes itself. If the browser does not allow that, the tab shows:
Sign-in failed.
Close that tab and start the sign-in again in the tab where you began.
DataMind Oda also reports which kind of failure it was:
| DataMind Oda reports | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| A network problem | DataMind Oda could not reach DataMind Platform. | Check your connection and start the sign-in again. |
| An unexpected answer | DataMind Platform answered something DataMind Oda did not expect. | Start the sign-in again. |
| An expired attempt | The sign-in ran out of time before it finished. | Start the sign-in again. |
| A saving problem | The sign-in could not be saved on this computer. | Start the sign-in again. |
An attempt lasts ten minutes in total. If DataMind Platform gives the attempt a shorter window, the shorter one applies.
The account view in DataMind Oda shows:
Your profile and your balance load independently. If one of them cannot load, the other still shows, and a balance that cannot be read is reported as a failure, never shown as zero.
Signing out removes your saved credential from this computer first. DataMind Oda then tells DataMind Platform to end the sign-in, in the background, retrying up to five times. If DataMind Platform cannot be reached, the sign-out still stands: the credential is never restored. A device identity for this computer stays after sign-out, and your API keys are not deleted.

works only for a local address on this computer, and only when it is explicitly allowed.Your DataMind OS account signs you in to DataMind Oda itself. Your Platform account is the account behind your AI usage. They are separate sign-ins, so signing out of your Platform account does not sign you out of DataMind Oda. See Install and sign in for signing in to DataMind Oda.
Start the sign-in in DataMind Oda; it opens the sign-in page of DataMind Platform in your browser. Sign in there as usual. When you finish, the browser returns to a page that confirms the sign-in, and DataMind Oda continues from there. In the desktop app, the app brings its sign-in window back to the front.
When the browser cannot finish the sign-in, the tab that was handling it closes itself. If the
browser does not allow that, the tab shows: Sign-in failed. Close it, and start the sign-in again in the tab where you began.
Ten minutes in total. If DataMind Platform gives the attempt a shorter window, the shorter one applies; after that, the attempt is expired and you start again.
DataMind Oda stored the credential on this computer, so it can finish the sign-in without you retyping it. It is not a fresh check with DataMind Platform.
They load separately, so one of them failing does not hide the other. A balance that cannot be read is reported as a failure, never shown as zero. Try again later.

No. They never enter model requests, chat logs, or tool results.
Yes, while the attempt is still waiting for you. Cancelling stops the wait and tells DataMind Platform, so an answer that arrives later cannot sign you in. Start again when you are ready.
No. An attempt cannot be resumed after DataMind Oda closes. Open it again and start the sign-in again.
