In DataMind Oda, when a chat has more than one version, the conversation map draws its whole history as a tree of cards, so you can see the path you are on and the other versions, and open any version by clicking its message.
If the chat has only one version, there is nothing to map yet. Edit, Rewind to here and Retry each cut a new version; Conversation branches explains how.
If the version you are viewing already shows the message, Oda stays on that version and jumps to the message; otherwise Oda opens the most recently used version that shows it. Moving between versions never touches your files.
Click the small tile in the corner of the chat; its name is Conversation map. The tile appears only once the chat has more than one version, and the map opens in its own dialog. Conversation branches covers how versions are made.
The tile appears once the chat has more than one version. Cut one with Edit, Rewind to here or Retry on a message, and the tile appears with it.
The message's time and a short preview, stopped after three lines. When the message carries files, its card also notes how many, for example 2 attachments.
They are the map's legend. Active path marks the cards on the path of the version you are viewing, and Other versions marks the rest. Point to any card to trace its path through the map.
The map closes and Oda opens the version that shows that message, scrolls to it, and highlights it. If you are already on a version that shows it, Oda stays on that version and jumps to the message; otherwise Oda opens the most recently used version that shows it. Switching versions never touches your files.
Yes. Each card acts like a button: move focus to it, then press Enter or Space to open it.
Scrolling pans the view, and the map opens with the tree fitted to the dialog. Its zoom stays between 0.1 and 1.5.
The map is sized for a desktop window and has no touch layout: the dialog is about 1100 by 760 pixels, and each card is 320 pixels wide.
That is the map's empty state: it shows when the map has no messages to draw.
