DataMind staff accounts are separate from company accounts: they sign in to the DataMind Platform console with their Microsoft work account instead of a password.
DataMind staff sign in with their work account. The password form stays on the page. If your account signs in with a password, nothing changes for you.
Staff accounts are not registered and not invited: your first Microsoft sign-in creates the account, or links the one you already had to your Microsoft work identity.
Company access works differently: see Get access and sign in.
A refused sign-in returns you to the sign-in page with one short message:
This account cannot sign in here. Contact DataMind if you think that is wrong. The Microsoft step worked, but the account cannot use the console: it is not active or not a recognised staff account. The same message covers every refusal of this kind. That sign-in attempt expired. Please try again. The attempt was left unfinished for too long and expired. Start the sign-in again from the sign-in page.Microsoft sign-in could not be completed. Please try again. The attempt did not complete. Start again from the sign-in page. The message shows once: reloading the page does not bring it back.
When an account is deactivated, Microsoft sign-in is refused, and signing in again does not revive it. Sign-in stays blocked until the account is reactivated; after reactivation, Microsoft sign-in works again. Another staff member can reactivate it from Staff accounts.
Password reset emails are not sent for staff accounts, whether or not the account has a password. If you use Forgot password?, the page still confirms with If an account exists for that email, a reset link has been sent., but no email is sent for a staff account.
A reset link issued before your account became a staff account cannot be used afterwards: the reset page refuses it with Staff accounts sign in with Microsoft and have no password.
An account created by its first Microsoft sign-in has no password, so the password form cannot sign it in. Some accounts keep a password for break-glass sign-in and can still sign in with the password form; the Staff accounts list flags them.
It appears only for a recognised staff address, and only when staff sign-in is available. Enter your full work email; if it still does not appear, your address is not set up for Microsoft sign-in.
No. Staff accounts are not registered and not invited: your first Microsoft sign-in creates the account, or links the one you already had to your Microsoft work identity.
This account cannot sign in here. What does it mean?Your Microsoft sign-in itself worked, but the account cannot use the console: it is not active, or it is not recognised as a staff account. Contact DataMind if you think that is wrong.
No. Signing in with Microsoft does not revive a deactivated account. Once the account is reactivated, Microsoft sign-in works again.
Only if your account has one. An account created by its first Microsoft sign-in has no password. A password kept for break-glass sign-in still signs in through the password form.
Password reset emails are not sent for staff accounts. A link issued before your account became a staff account no longer works: the reset page refuses it with Staff accounts sign in with Microsoft and have no password.
