When a DataMind Oda chat works with a team of agents, the Activity tab shows what each teammate is doing and which tasks the team has taken on. Use the panel to watch progress and open a teammate's conversation; the panel itself changes nothing.
Open the Activity tab in the side panel next to the chat the team works in. The panel lists one row per teammate.
Each row shows the teammate's state and, when they are set, its agent preset and model. The state is one of four words:
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
running | The teammate is working on a turn right now. |
queued | The teammate is still being created, so there is no conversation to open yet. |
stopped | No turn is running. This is not a failure, and the teammate can still be opened. |
failed | The teammate could not be created. |
To learn how a team is started and who can create a teammate, see Agent teams.
running or stopped. Two things to know:
queued or failed does not open. The panel offers no Stop or Steer controls. Interrupting or steering a teammate happens in the conversation, guided by the Lead.
The Shared tasks card in the panel shows the team's task list, so you can follow what the team is doing without interrupting it. The card is read-only: the team's agents create and update tasks as they work, and nothing in the card changes them.
Each task shows its id, its owner as Owner: <name> or Owner: Unowned, and its state:
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
Pending | The task has not started. A pending task also says whether it is Ready or Blocked by dependencies. |
In progress | A teammate is working on the task. |
Completed | The task is done. |
When a task is blocked, the tasks it waits for are listed under Blocked by:. When set, a task's write scopes appear as Write scopes: <scopes>, with a note beside them when they overlap another task's.
When the team has no tasks, the card reads No shared tasks yet. The rules behind tasks, owners and dependencies are on Team tasks.
The card first appears once its first refresh has finished. After that, it shows Loading Team… while a refresh is running. If a refresh fails, an alert line shows the failure message, and the last loaded board stays in place.
A teammate opens only from the conversation shown in the main view, and only while it is running or stopped. Open the chat the team works in, then select the row in Activity. A teammate that is queued or failed has no conversation to open.
No. stopped means no turn is running; the teammate is not failed, and you can still open it. A teammate that could not be created reads failed instead.
The panel has no Stop or Steer controls. To interrupt or redirect a teammate, work from the conversation, guided by the Lead; see Agent teams.
About every ten seconds while the window is visible. It also refreshes as soon as a team action settles, and when you select Refresh Team. It skips refreshes while the window is hidden.
The card reads No shared tasks yet when the team has no tasks; tasks appear as the team creates them. If the card itself is not there yet, its first refresh has not finished.
No. The card is read-only; the team's agents create and update tasks as they work. How tasks behave, including owners and dependencies, is on Team tasks.
Owner: Unowned mean? The task has no owner right now. It can be claimed once everything it waits for is completed. See Team tasks.
Blocked by dependencies mean? The task cannot start until the tasks listed after Blocked by: are completed. While it waits it reads Blocked by dependencies; when they are done it becomes Ready.
Loading Team… mean?A refresh is running. The text clears when the refresh finishes.
An alert line shows the failure message, and the last loaded board stays in place. Select Refresh Team to try again.
No. The panel follows the chat shown in the main view: it shows that chat's teammates, and the tasks of that chat's team.
