2026.10
This release adds skills to AI Mind, which you create, import, share and promote to a company skill, a company Skills page in AI Configuration, workflow schedules that run in the time zone you pick, layers and backgrounds on the DataPrism report canvas, read-only chat sharing, and the first DataMind Oda tools for Microsoft Excel.
AI Mind: Skills
- Skills tab: Every Mind now has a Skills tab beside Training Hub, with the skills it can load in four groups: This mind, Shared with this mind, Organization and Built-in.
- Create and import: Write a skill in the editor, have the Mind write one with Create with AI, or import an existing
SKILL.md file or a .zip. A skill the Mind writes starts turned off until someone reviews it.
- Share and copy: Share a skill with other Minds, copy it to them as an independent skill, or convert a shared, organization or built-in skill into one the Mind owns.
- History: Every skill keeps its revisions, with a diff between two revisions and a restore.
- Skills in chat: The
/ menu lists the skills a chat can run, and creating or editing a skill from a chat shows a preview you approve before it is saved.
- Source on every skill: A badge says whether a skill is built in, comes from your organization, was written by the Mind, or runs only when someone types its name.
Administration: Skills
- Skills page: AI Configuration now has a Connection & models tab and a Skills tab. The Skills tab lists your organization's skills together with the built-in and Mind skills.
- Organization skills: Write a skill once and choose the agents it reaches, including Oda, the Minds, the builders and the AI tools. A skill can be limited to roles and given its own slash command.
- Forced skills: Marking a skill Forced makes every chosen agent list it, and nobody can turn it off.
- Delivery: A skill is Managed, so later edits reach everyone, or Install once, so each person keeps the copy they installed.
- Promote a skill: A skill a Mind wrote can be turned into an organization skill after a review, and the Mind keeps its own copy. The person who wrote the skill cannot be the one to promote it.
- Oda skills moved: The skills you send to DataMind Oda users are now managed in AI Configuration > Skills. The Oda admin page keeps General and MCP.
Administration: A rebuilt admin and a new look
- Tabbed AI Configuration: The AI settings page and the Oda page were rebuilt on the shared administration layout, with inline field errors and an unsaved-changes bar that offers to discard before you leave.
- MCP servers as a list: The MCP servers you send to Oda users are a table with their address, access and audience, and each one opens in a side panel.
- Update replaces Platform: Admin > Platform is now Admin > Update, a services sidebar beside the tabs Updates, Map and Job logs. The Installer updates first, then DataMind OS, and old Platform links still open.
- Container logs moved: Container logs now open under Observability > Logs > Platform, with match modes, level and exclude filters, a histogram, a live view and CSV export.
- New wordmark: The sidebar and the loading screen carry the DataMind wordmark, and the loading screen now shows a progress bar and offers a reload if the app is slow to start.
- Universe cards: Each product card on Universe has a shorter description and one clear action, such as Open Docs, Open Platform, Open FM and Download.
Workflows: Schedules in your own time zone
- Timezone: A workflow's schedule now carries a Timezone, chosen by searching a city or a country.
- Read as a sentence: The schedule reads as a sentence, such as "Runs in Tbilisi time (GMT+4), the same as your clock.", with a Change link.
- Daylight saving: The start time, end time and schedule day are read in that zone, so a daylight-saving change no longer moves the run.
- Default: A new workflow starts in your own zone, and a workflow with no zone keeps running in UTC.
- Workflows screen: The list gains a filter pane beside the search box, a New button, counts on the type chips, a schedule state on every card, and a toggle that reveals test and single-node runs in the runs table.
DataPrism: The report canvas
- Layers: A Layers panel lists the page's visuals from front to back and reorders them by dragging, with Lock on each.
- Order: Bring to front, Bring forward, Send backward and Send to back arrange a selected tile.
- Text and image tiles: A new Text & media group places text boxes and images on a page.
- Backgrounds: A tile and a page each take a background, a fill or one of the report's images.
- Report assets: A Report assets drawer keeps the report's files in one place, shows where each file is used and refuses to delete a file that is still in use.
Minds: Sharing and files
- Share a chat read-only: A chat can be shared with several named people, for a set time, with a Live or Snapshot view. A guest reads the chat and cannot send, and either side can end the share.
- Allowed file types: Each Mind now chooses which file types people may attach, images, PDFs, text and Excel or CSV, in place of the single Excel and CSV switch.
- Waiting for uploads: A message waits while a file is still uploading, and a file can be pasted while a message is being edited.
DataMind Oda
- Oda in Excel: The first DataMind Oda tools for Microsoft Excel arrive, with permission modes, approvals before a write and a sign-out.
- Organization skills in Oda: A skill your organization requires appears with a padlock and cannot be turned off; every other skill has its own switch on the computer.
- A local server asks first: When your organization sends a server that runs on your computer, Oda asks before it starts and asks again if the command changes.
Fixes
- A subscribed PDF or PPTX export leaves hidden report pages out.
- The Validate button on a transformation runs with the parameter values you set.
- The Streams tab of a recipe no longer fails when it is opened outside the Lake page.
- A batch user upload refuses a file over 5 MB, with a message naming the limit.
- The default notification channel can no longer be switched off until another channel becomes the default.
